Privacy Policy: Curious Shift Publisher

Last updated: 13 October 2026

Who uses this app

Curious Shift Publisher is a private tool run by the owner of the YouTube channel The Curious Shift. Only the channel owner signs in to it. It is not offered to anyone else.

What Google data it accesses

With the owner's permission, the app uses the YouTube Data API to:

• upload the channel's own videos to the channel,
• set the thumbnail of those videos,
• check the privacy status of a video it uploaded, and delete it when the owner asks.

It does not read comments, subscribers, viewing history, or any other account data.

How the data is stored

The sign-in token is stored only on the owner's own computer. The app keeps a local list of the video IDs it uploaded. Nothing is sent to any server other than Google's own YouTube API.

Sharing

No data is sold, shared, or transferred to anyone. It is not used for advertising.

Google API Services

The app's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Removing access

Access can be removed at any time from Google Account permissions. Deleting the token file on the owner's computer also ends access.
